It took me 10 hours with 3 trains to get from Pasevalk to Iphofen. On the train station lovely owner of the hotel waited for me and brought me to the hotel. Hotel is located in middle of fortified village. There is nice wall around it and lots of vineyards on hills.
Outside of fortress/village except vineyards there is some small industry and lake with ducks, grandmas and torturing devices (fitness)
I stayed in nice hotel named Krone (as other 2000 hotels in Germany). It was in middle of village with nice view of main squre. Whole village is nicely decorated with houses in recognizable old German architecture. Only library and gallery were in some kind of neo-nichilist style – bone, leather, marble and glass.
