When I asked my Swedish friends and colleagues what is Arbetsförmedlingen used for, they couldn’t tell me. In theory Arbetsförmedlingen exists to find people jobs, but in reality they exist to find people jobs in Arbetsförmedlingen. If you wish to use their services be ready for following situations:
- You call and wait for 30-120 minutes for call to be dropped
- You call and wait for 30-120 minutes to get in touch with person who has no idea how to help you (in best case they search on Arbetsförmedlingen web page for answer)
- You book appointment via phone and nobody shows up
- They tell you they will call you and that never happens
- You reach somebody and get denial of service
They are bunch of miserable, incompetent and useless people. This agency should be shut down so that they don’t waste government money.
