One from Nepal. But not really. It is actually made in UK, and except the name it doesn’t have much connection with Gurkhas or Nepal. There is small story on the bottle about Gurkhas – Nepalese warriors and how they joined British military and brought their beer recipe with them. There might be some truth in that but I’m not motivated to check it.
I found this one in restaurant Kathmandu – Nepalese restaurant in center of Gothenburg that you shout definitely visit.
This was light beer, tasting like non-Swedish lagers, soft and sweet. I really liked it. It has 4.8% alcohol.
